Tippy Toez is owned and managed by Rhianna, a local mum of two children.
Originally from London, Rhianna has been dancing for over 30 years and emigrated to Australia in 2009.
‘I aimed to create a dance school I would have loved to send my daughter to when she was younger. As someone who has danced their whole life and a parent to a daughter, I know how expensive dance can be. This is why I started Tippy Toez. There will never be registration fees, uniforms or costumes; I wanted to offer affordable classes.
I also wished I could watch my daughter’s class and share the magic with my little ballerina; therefore, all of our classes are completely open, with friends and family welcome to stay and watch.
Being a mum of a neurodivergent son, I have found many studios weren’t neurodivergent aware or didn’t accommodate their additional needs.
This isn’t the case at Tippy Toez; everyone is welcome and encouraged to explore their individuality.
I am proud to offer fun classes for little dancers who love to dance, with parents able to experience and capture these special memories with them.’
About Our Classes
At Tippy Toez, our classes are all about positivity, not pressure as we believe that learning dance should be fun.
Our enjoyable and engaging lessons encourage children to thrive and learn while developing essential gross motor skills, exploring their independence and building their social skills.
Using age-appropriate music, moves and props, allows the children’s confidence and imagination to grow. Our classes are specifically designed to introduce your little ones to the wonderful world of dance, with small classes to ensure that no fundamental concepts are being missed.
No concerts or competitions, no make-up, no stress.
OPEN CLASSES
Our classes are always open, with parents welcome to stay and watch. We understand how special it is to watch your children make wonderful childhood memories while feeling safe knowing you are nearby.
CAPPED CLASSES
All of our classes are capped at 10 students because if there are fewer students, your child will receive more personalised attention, learn more and ultimately have more fun.
NO UNIFORMS
We don’t have a set uniform; our dancers can wear whatever they feel comfortable and beautiful dancing in.
All students will need ballet shoes, and those in the combo classes will need a pair of tap shoes, too.
TERM FEES
The fee for the 10-week term is $130 or $110 for the under 3 classes.
There are no registration fees.
TEACHERS
All teachers are fully insured and hold a current WWCC.
PERTH CLASSES
Classes are available North and South of the river in Perth, Western Australia.
